A matt black powder coating is applied over Solid Brass to create our distinctive Matt Black contemporary look.
Useful Information
  • Fire doors are required to have 3 fire certified hinges
  • Fire door hinges should be CE marked along with a fire identification stamp which is easily visible
  • Fire rated hingesĀ are tested withĀ intumescent packersĀ fitted behind each leaf. It is essential that fire rated hinges are installed with intumescent hinge packers, also referred to as hinge pads and hinge plates
  • 1mmĀ packer is required for use on FD30 rated fire doors and a 2mm packer is required for use on FD60 rated fire doors
